Setting Up Salesforce Dynamics 365 Integration

Step 1: Connecting to Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Sign up or Log in to RoboMQ here.
- After logging into the account, you can see many 3rd party apps with which you can connect.
- Now, Search for “Dynamics” in the search bar, shown in the image below.
- Now select the “Dynamics 365 CRM” app. It will open up the dialog box.
- Fill in the Flow Name and its description you want to provide to this Salesforce Dynamics Integration, shown in the image below.
- Click on the “Create Workflow” button to create a new workflow with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Now, the workflow will open up. It is like a workspace where you can connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 with other apps and configure them, shown in the image below.
- Here you can choose a trigger you want to create.
- The workflow provides you with two options.
- The “Object Updated” option will trigger when any existing object in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is updated.
- The “Object Created” option will trigger when a new object is created in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

- Now it provides you two more nested options i.e. the “Bulk Data Feed” and the “Polling” option.
- If you want to process data in a file, then select the “Bulk Data Feed” option. If you want to process data as an individual, then choose the “Polling” option.
- Now, click on the “Link Account” button to link your Microsoft Dynamics 365 account.
- Here, it will ask for your Microsoft Dynamics 365 account URL. You can find it in the address bar of the browser after you log in to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 account. Copy the URL and paste it into the “Instance URL” field, shown in the image below.
- Then, click on the “Link Account” button. It will prompt you to log in to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 account and then grant the permissions to RoboMQ to access data.
- It will open up a configuration screen where you can set the interval to sync the objects and choose the Entity type for the object. You can also add more filters if you want, shown in the image below.
- Fill in all the details and click on the “Save” button to save the configurations.
- Now, it will provide you a summary of all the configurations of Microsoft Dynamics 365, go through it and then click on the “+ Action” button to add a new app to the workflow.
Step 2: Integrating Salesforce with Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Here, search for “Salesforce” in the search bar and select the Salesforce app. Then, click on the “Choose An Action” button.
- Choose one option from “Create Object“, “Delete Object” or “Update Object” based on the action you want to perform in Salesforce CRM for every trigger, shown in the image below.
- Then, click on the “Link Account” button and fill in all the necessary credentials.
- Now, it will open a workspace where you can connect Salesforce Dynamics using Data Mapping and Transformation.
- Now, select the same Entity you selected for Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- It will allow you to map data from the Trigger Data column with the help of the drag and drop feature, shown in the image below.
- After mapping data, click on the “Save” button save Salesforce Dynamics 365 data mapping.
- Go through all the mapped data and other configurations. Then, click on the “Deploy Flow” button.
- Now, click on the “Continue to Deploy” button to integrate Salesforce Dynamics 365.
That’s it! You have completed Salesforce Dynamics 365 Integration.
